Big Mouth, Sloppy Pour

This is a lovely decanter. Of that there should be no doubt.

The month before, I purchased the Taylor Ravenscroft decanter.

It was down to those two, and the Jefferson was out of stock and, well, my bourbon was feeling neglected so I went with the Taylor. I was quite pleased… but always in the back of my mind I had this nagging feeling that I’d “missed-out”.

What if the Jefferson decanter was the best decanter in the history of the universe?!!

What if owning the Jefferson decanter was a life-changing experience?!!

What if the ownership of the Jefferson decanter made me seem more witty, more urbane, more attractive to women?!!

So many questions… so many exclamation points mingling with question marks…

I bought this as a gift for my father, who is absolutely impossible to buy for. When I saw it in use during a recent visit, I knew it was a winner. The picture doesn’t do it justice – it is very heavy and very elegant.
