When you’re just having one glass

Stemmed wine glasses are nice but for casual sipping, either socially or while reading a book, the stem can cause “depth perception” issues. I broke one glass when I misjudged the distance to a marble kitchen counter and SLAMMED the base of the stem into the stone. Oops!

These eliminate that problem because you kinesthetically know where your hand is. Also, these glasses are easy to set down and are less likely to tip.

The glasses are quality and feel smooth and well-made. The glass is clear. My only complaint is that these Reidels are HUGE. Like, my hand can’t reach halfway around the base huge.

OTOH, the 21 ounce capacity comes in handy when your doctor advises you to drink one glass of red wine a night.

Nice shape and hold to these glasses. I like my wine in a thin lipped glass and these work perfectly. I will be purchasing another set. I recommend them.

Functional and designed for varietals

I like euro style wine glasses. The kind you find in French bistros. Simple, less prone to tipping, and take less space in the dish washer.
