Ravenscroft Crystal Ultra Magnum Decanter



Very pleased

We received this product yesterday and have taken it out of the box for examination and first use. My fear was that this was going to be a thin piece of glass which would make it very fragile with normal use. I have read many reviews here on Amazon describing several other brands having this issue. This is a large and durable decanter. It is nicely weighted and is not a thin cheap piece of glass.


Wine pours into it easily and the very wide bottom allows wine to “bloom” and the separation of sediment quick and easy. I highly recommend these cleaning beads to clean your decanter: Riedel Bottle Cleaner Beads 1.75-Inch, Black Container with Lid

The quality of the decanter is very nice, this glass is thick and its a gorgeous decanter but this decanter is HUGE…I made the mistake to buy the Magnum, thinking it was the brand name. We drink a lot of wine and never buy Magnums of decent-good wine. Hope this helps.

Great value, works well

Got this as a gift for my wife. Looks and feels expensive, but didn’t break the bank. Easy to pour. Works well for letting the wine breathe. I definitely feel like I can taste a difference. Cleaned easily with Riedel bottle cleaner beads.
