Brooklyn Bee glasses
I’m very pleased with these glasses. I purchased them in the hope that I could reproduce the “Brooklyn Bee” champagne/gin/lavender honey/lemon juice/absinthe cocktail served by Le Bernardin in New York, the best cocktail I ever had. These coupe glasses are the ones they use. I am mystified by the review that said the glasses only hold 4 oz.,not 5.5 as advertised. I measured out 5.5 oz. of water very carefully and poured it into one of the glasses. It filled it exactly to the rim, with not a single drop spilling over. These glasses feel just right in the hand.

The set of glasses arrived in time to watch “Casablanca” on TCM. We love how romantic and glamorous the 1940s were, and these glasses definitely capture that. Besides champagne, the glasses are great for serving cocktails. We were also excited to see the glasses used at high-craft cocktail bars. Definitely recommended!
Nice, but a bit smaller than I expected
Overall, these are nice glasses and good quality as stated in other reviews. Excellent service. The package arrived very quick. I figured with a 5.5 oz capacity they would easily hold 4 oz, but actually only comfortably hold no more than 100 ml (3.3 – 3.4oz) without the risk of spilling all over (and that’s when sober). The 5.5 oz capacity is filled to the VERY TOP of the rim. If you plan on serving anything over 3oz, I would recommend something a little larger.
