Fantastic beer tasting glasses
Basically I drink one beer per day and therefore tend towards more refined offerings of all types (quads, triples, dips, ipa, apa, brown ale, imperial stout, stout, porter, wisbier, pilsen, doppelbock, bock etc), with weekly sampling of new beers. Prior to buying these glasses, and during my first few years as a beer tasting newbie, I used a frozen mug, which I have side learned is verboten as it dilutes fine beers through melting ice and does not promote head formation or retention Buchanan is needed to trap volatile oils in beer which help smell and taste. These glasses are exceptional in making the beer look beautiful as well as enhancing smell and taste. Taste is promoted by thin glass which fits right in your mouthand also does not cause beer to cool to quickly due to heat loss to thick glass. While thin they are by no means brittle but you will need to treat them with special care during drinking, washing and storage if you want them to last. They are refined and while not…
Just buy them!
Ok, I do not write many reviews, but felt compelled to write one on these to help my fellow beer lovers. In short, by the friggin’ glasses. I purchased two sets from Wayfair, in each of the sets, one of the glasses were shattered. Their customer service was nothing short of excellent. Ok, now on to the glasses.
I’m sure you’re wondering how can a glass make a beer taste better? Well heck, I do not know the answer that question, all I can say is that it can. These glasses are very thin, extremely thin. (Did I mention they are thin?) You will experience much more head and a lot more stimulation happenin’ all up in your nose with these glasses. I think it’s mostly the enhanced smell that makes it taste better. Who knows.
Mine never get put in the dishwasher and I’d recommend you do the same. I do not regret this purchase at all. Now when my friends come over for a drink, they always request "the beer glasses" instead of out of the bottle or a mug. I’m quite…
well received
