Good and Bad
Purchased as a gift for my wife – she loves it looks great and looks well constructed that is until we tested it and it leaked. Deciding if we want to return(none available currently) or try and repair as another reviewer did.
Disappointing
I purchased this product on October 15, 2012. It is already rusting out on the inside in spite of my draining the residual water out of it after each use. It also sprung a leak which my neighbor was able to correct with solder. It only has a 30 day warranty. Very disappointing for an expensive $100 product.
Perfect for party’s!
Need to keep quantities of wine cool at a party? This is a beautiful way to do it without dripping water all over the place. Just fill the watertight center with ice and the bottle slots ice cold but dry. It also is a great decorative item in use or not. I’m amazed the attention it attracts. I had mine polished and lacquered which makes it even more appealing, though others may prefer the aged finish it arrives with. I’ve given several of these as housewarming gifts.
